We only have to look at the mess #generativeai has become, on the back of the #metaverse and #selfdrive vehicles prior to, to realise the never-ending capability #siliconvalley -- and all who follow in its apostolic footsteps -- has (deeply embedded in its ways of seeing, that is) to foist big #boytoy solutions on us, without ever asking if they solve the problems we actually have.
Never mind if their configurations make the planet objectively worse ... I mean, here, in #environmental, #labourforce, and other directly impacted aspects.
