Mil Williams, Founder of Intuition Validation projects

I was born in 1962, on Bloomsday actually.

I didn’t understand the significance of my birthday in respect of my literary aspirations until my 40s. My family simply didn’t know the fact. I had to discover it myself. It’s hard to discover something you don’t know exists. It’s like when you use search to find an object you’ve seen but have no idea of its name.

Another thing I learnt only this year: to be born in 1962 and reach the age of 62 has a name I also struggled to find at first, but was sure had to have an explanation somewhere: a mathematical something, an algorithm or similar. Actually, wondrously, it’s much more human than that: it’s called a “Beddian Year”. Not all of us might enjoy it. And the backstory is sad. Look it up!

Nowadays, as a result of all that, I am comfortable with my chosen activity: coder/maths fan whose “language” is English.

I’m an inveterate philosopher and imagineer: I believe in arts-based thinking as applied to real-world problems. I’m not unfocussed: but I understand focus in a different way from most people. As a poet who loves new poetry and uses it to imagine new digital worlds, new technologies even, I also believe firmly in two types of ambiguity:

  1. Confused ambiguity: that which results from an inability to use the communication system in question competently.

  2. Precise ambiguity: that which delivers the only way of capturing in its entirety a truth which escapes common communication. The function, that is, of all artistic endeavour.

I’ve been working on intuition validation most of my life without realising: I can date my interest — connect my dots, that is — back to the early 1980s when I studied Film & Literature at Warwick University. An example of a kind of tech which historically chose to make humans bigger and more important in the related industry rather than eliminate us from workplace relevance.

Since 2016 and Bloomsday in Dublin Ireland, I have been inspired to expand what I first sensed and now mean by all of this.

I’m looking, now, to find engaged interest; deep funding; intelligent brains and people; and effective yet also profoundly compassionate technologists for three locations:

  1. Chester UK, where I propose we locate the HQ and the first research facility of “GB 2 Earth_The Intuition Corporation”.

  2. Stockholm Sweden, where I propose we locate a dependent research facility to spearhead the fight against Russia and a wider encroaching totalitarianism.

  3. Dublin/Cork Ireland, where I propose a second dependent research facility.

I can be contacted via the email on my The RSA profile, at my LinkedIn account, or here:
